Allergy Free Cheer

Friday morning I received a phone call from a mother whose son had never had a birthday cake.  He was turning 3 and had never had a cake due to his egg allergy.

Mom called me asking me if I did special orders, and of course, one of my favorite things to do is bake cakes for people.  More importantly, by being able to make an egg free cake this little boy had his first ever birthday cake.

Needless to say, vegan cakes are for everyone!

Will Wait For Vegan Treats!

This morning I recieved a text on the way to Coffee Emporium OTR asking what my ETA was. Apparently someone was waiting for some vegan goodness. When I arrived a very hungry gentleman was excited to see me.

As I was leaving the barista was showing him his options. She then suggested that he simply get one of each.

Great to know vegans will wait for something good!

Cincy Entertainment Interviews Sweet Peace Bakery

Sweet Peace Bakery shares it vegan goodness with the entire Greater Cincinnati Area. Recently, Sweet Peace Bakery’s founder, Mary Beth King was interviewed by Cincy Entertainment.

The hosts, Elizabeth and Tommy, gave us the opportunity to share our vegan passion with it’s viewing audience. Not to mention we got the chance to discuss why many people decide to go vegan – some for health reasons, some to lose weight (Mike Tyson), and others for animal rights.

As we discuss on our “Why Vegan” page, going vegan is a lifestyle change that has a positive impact not only on the individual, but the earth’s entire eco-system. Yep that’s right, the entire eco-system!
